The Career Resource Center’s Mission: To support students and alumni as they make life-long career decisions and pursue meaningful work, while promoting environmentally and socially responsible careers.
The Career Resource Center (CRC) is always willing to
assist Sterling Alumni. We welcome alumni to tap into
our numerous resources, find out about them below.
We also want to invite all of you to take part in our Career Chats. Career Chats are opportunities for alumni to discuss with current students how Sterling College prepared them for the careers they currently hold. These informal chats occur in the CRC throughout the school year. Contact the CRC if you are interested in participating.

A database of over 3,000 environmental internships, which has proven to be valuable to alumni. Able to customize searches by geographic region, field of work, and/or compensation.
Mock Interviews
Alumni have the opportunity to participate in mock interviews. A variety of interview situations can be created to prepare alumni in acquiring the jobs they want. Contact the CRC for more information.
Resume/Cover Letter Critiques
The CRC staff can assist with resume and cover letter editing. Please send us an e-mail or stop by the CRC during normal business hours.

Weekly Updates of Career Opportunities (WUCO)

An electronic listing of career opportunities that is posted weekly throughout the fall and spring semesters and monthly throughout the summer. Alumni can request to receive an e-mail notifying them when the WUCO has been posted.
