The CRC is full of resources pertaining to the interests of Sterling College students. Below you will find information about the resources that are made available to you.

Internship Database

A database of over 3,000 environmental internships. Able to customize searches by geographic region, field of work, and/or compensation.
Mock Interviews
Students have the opportunity to participate in mock interviews. A variety of interview situations can be created to prepare alumni in acquiring the jobs they want. Contact Jennifer Payne to schedule an appointment.
Resume/Cover Letter Critiques
The CRC staff can assist with resume and cover letter editing. Please send us an e-mail or stop by the CRC during normal business hours.

Weekly Updates of Career Opportunities (WUCO)

An electronic listing of career opportunities that is posted weekly throughout the fall and spring semesters and monthly throughout the summer. Students can request to receive an e-mail notifying them when the WUCO has been posted.
CRC EVENTS
Every year the CRC plans a multitude of events. Below you will find information regarding upcoming events.
Career Chats
An opportunity for alumni to discuss with students how Sterling College prepared them for the careers they currently hold. These occur in the CRC during a meal throughout the school year.
Environmental Career Fair
2009's Fair to be announced in the fall of 2008.
Organizations' representatives will be on hand to meet with students to discuss potential internships, research projects, and employment opportunities. This event is free and open to the public. If you know an organization that would like to join us, please have them contact the CRC.
Internship Presentations
All presentations begin at 6:30 p.m. in Simpson 3 of Simpson Hall on the following dates: Fall 2008's Internship Presentations to be announced in early fall 2008.
Recruiter Visits
This is a time for students to meet on-campus with organizations that are searching for interns, students, or employees.
Senior Exit Interviews
Interviews occur during the spring semester each year, and each individual interview last 30-45 minutes long. This is an opportunity for seniors to discuss with the CRC staff their transitional needs.
Senior Send-Off Series
Workshop topics will be based on the needs and wants of seniors determined by the Senior Exit Interviews. The series is scheduled for late April and early May.
