Recommendation 1: To encourage more alternative transportation use on campus
Activity 1: Increase the Green Bike program by looking for funding sources (Bikes Belong Grant), including bike trailers a. Request that a portion of the student parking fees be appropriated to the Green Bike program. b. Request that a portion (or all) of the parking ticket fines be appropriated to the Green Bike program. c. Promote use of bike racks by designing them to not damage frames and tire configuration.
