This past weekend we held the 5th Annual Sterling Alumni and Friends Winter Rendezvous! We enjoyed skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, drinks, and dinner with family and friends as well as former and current faculty and staff. A great time was had by all! Ned Houston reflected on the festivities a bit:
“Our gathering last weekend underscored for me much of what I like about Sterling. We have had such a number of shared experiences here as students and faculty that we right away feel connections and have thoughts to share. After dinner, for example, remembrances ranged from the earliest days of Bounder at the School to the most recent Expedition, a span of more than fifty years. Yet we all could identify with the challenges of being out in the cold, working through things with our crews, and the little triumphs of keeping warm or having a good meal in spite of snow, or wind, or less than ideal firewood. Very affirming! So thanks for being there, everyone. It was great to catch up a bit and look back a bit as well.”
