Maple Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup salted Cabot butter
- 1 cup King Arthur Flour
- 1/2 cup of Sterling College maple syrup
Whip the butter with the maple syrup; it will separate and look a little scary, but keep whipping. As it starts to come together, add in enough flour to make a dough. Chill the dough for an hour, or as long as you like beyond that, and roll out. Cut the cookies in your favorite shape. We like to add melted butter and a sprinkle of sugar on top to give it a little shine. Bake for 10 minutes at 375F until golden brown. Try and wait for the cookies to cool before eating!
