Jennifer grew up outside of D.C. in northern Virginia. Although she spent most of her life in a larger metropolitan area, she fell in love with smaller towns when she moved to Charlottesville, VA and lived there for five years. Throughout the past few years, she’s traveled through North America, South America, Europe, and Scandinavia, learning endlessly and making friends in different parts of the world.
In 2015, she and her partner fell in love with the Northeast Kingdom when they happened to find a piece of property in Hardwick. After purchasing the property, they built a tiny house and became irreversibly smitten with the culture and landscape of Vermont. In mid-2017, they decided to take the leap and move up to Vermont full-time.
Jennifer has always felt passionate about large-scale global problems, most notably climate change. She felt working at Sterling College was the perfect way to positively impact future generations’ interactions with the planet.
When she’s not at work, you’ll find Jennifer skiing in the woods, training dogs, and enjoying the many fun activities the Kingdom has to offer.
