Kunal grew up in Millburn, New Jersey watching a lot of television and spending the rest of his time gardening and running around outside. His upbringing led him to receive his B.S. in Environmental Science with a focus on soil science, agriculture, and biogeochemistry from the University of Vermont. Kunal is constantly thinking of how to develop a sense of place and what it means to cultivate a joyful and resilient community. He is excited about helping students along their journeys into higher education, especially at a place like Sterling.
