Sterling’s alums are diverse and include former students of Sterling School, the Grassroots Program, Sterling Institute, and Sterling College.
Sterling always has, and always will, emphasize the important and the authentic, and alums are a testament to the powerful effect of that emphasis.
Spring 2026 marks Sterling’s last undergraduate semester. We graduated our final class at Commencement on Saturday, May 16.

To request your transcript from Sterling College, please fill out our Transcript Request Form and complete payment (if necessary). Sterling does not offer electronic transmission of transcripts. All official transcripts are sent via USPS. Official and unofficial transcript requests are processed within seven business days.

After June 17, 2026, the College of the Atlantic, will be the custodian for all Sterling College records. For any records request, please contact the Registrar’s Office at College of the Atlantic.
